02 • The Fusion Forge

Where Metal Becomes One

TIG welding at 3,400°F. Argon-shielded arc. The base metal liquefies, filler rod melts into the joint, and two pieces become molecularly inseparable. This is not assembly. This is fusion.

Joint Preparation

Beveled edges. Cleaned to white metal. Gap tolerance: ±0.5mm.

02

Tack & Align

Fixture locked. Tack welds placed. Distortion controlled.

03

Root Pass

Full penetration. Back-purged argon. Zero porosity tolerance.

04

Cap & Inspect

Cover pass applied. Visual + dye penetrant inspection.

03 • Powder Coating Laboratory

Electrostatically Bonded

Not paint. Powder. Electrostatically charged particles fused at 400°F. A molecular bond that won't chip, peel, or fade.

STAGE 01

Surface Preparation

Abrasive blast to SSPC-SP10 near-white metal. Creates 2-3 mil anchor profile for coating adhesion.

STAGE 02

Electrostatic Application

Powder particles charged to -60kV. Attracted to grounded steel. Complete coverage including recesses.

STAGE 03

Thermal Cure

Infrared + convection cure at 400°F for 20 minutes. Powder melts, flows, and cross-links into solid film.
